Wild About Yorkshire’s Coast & Country: The Banded Demoiselle on the up along local rivers

I recently mentioned in my Sheffield Star column how this gorgeous damselfly was increasingly abundant on streams and rivers around Sheffield. I promised also to post up some pictures of both males and females taken by local enthusiast Les Cornthwaite – well here they are – both are stunning and the males have the distinctive wing bands.
