A campaign to save a rare tree and its colony of threatened, rare butterflies is inviting you to join them and to celebrate this remarkable urban wildlife saga.
In the Sheffield suburb of Nether Edge, the rare 100-year old Chelsea Road elm tree and its colony of the rare White Letter Hairstreak butterfly are still under threat from Sheffield Council.
Join us on the day to celebrate this tree, potentially get to see closer views of the rare butterfly, and gain insight from experts about elm trees, butterflies, and what you can do to help save both this tree and other threatened Sheffield street trees.
