And more on Sheffield Street Trees – a slightly delayed message and update from Jennifer Hockey

Dear SORT supporters

Apologies for the slowing down of email news about the tree campaign. At the moment an injunction has been brought against the council to stop the felling for three months. The council have appealed against this and there will be a hearing in London on 22nd March where tree campaigners will bring further evidence for our case.

You can get more detail on this by logging on to one of the following sites:

The SORT core group met last night and is planning a get-together (probably up at the Greystones) soon after Easter. This will be an informal opportunity to share up-to-date information and have a drink together.

Once a date and venue is confirmed, I will let everyone know.

Meanwhile, many thanks to everyone for your continued support!

Happy Easter,

Jenny
